Deb is a current researcher at Gallo. Captivated by the valley’s intricate soil compositions, Deb earned a bachelor’s degree in Geology from California State University at Stanislaus. Deb loves putting together new blends, and you never know what daring flavor she is going to reveal next.

Jody Bogle
Vice President of Consumer Relations at Bogle
In her role of Vice President of Consumer Relations, Jody oversees hospitality at the family’s home ranch tasting room. She also manages direct to consumer sales, internal and external communications and leads the winery’s international sales efforts in 40 countries around the globe.

Lisa Valtenberg
Winemaker at La Crema
As a native to Sonoma County, Lisa was inspired by the region’s agricultural traditions and naturally gravitated towards winemaking. Joining the La Crema winemaking team in July 2022, Lisa brings a breadth, and depth of winemaking knowledge from her previous JFW experiences that will only further strengthen La Crema Winery.

Niki Wente
Sr. Vineyard & Viticulture Manager
During her teenage years, Niki had the opportunity to shadow Jackie Mancuso, Wente Vineyard’s Leader of Vineyard Operations at the time. This inspired the self-determined 14 year old Niki to study viticulture. In 2017 Niki Wente joined the Wente Family Estates Vineyard Operations team. Niki oversees farming operations for roughly 3,000 acres of land.

A second generation Italian-American with a career in winemaking spanning over three decades and four continents. Attending UC Davis, she took an opportunity to travel abroad where she experienced her first harvest at Santa Margherita Winery in the beautiful Veneto in Northern Italy.

Sarah Gott
Wine Maker at Joel Gott Wines
Sarah grew up in Marin County and studied at the University of California Davis’ Viticulture and Enology Department, where she graduated in 1993 with a degree in Fermentation Sciences. As a winemaker at Quintessa (a Napa Valley winery producing a single, Bordeaux-style red), Sarah soon became involved with the rapidly growing Joel Gott Wines.
